Why This Blog

This blog hopes to provide a valuable additional platform for all our students (past and present) to interact with us and provide inputs transcending geographical limitations. Through these interactions, we hope to improve our knowledge as well as provide qualitatively better services to our students. We at the department, hope to develop this blog an additional forum to express ourselves freely and outside the claustrophobic disciplinarian boundaries. We hope this will serve as a place where participants can frankly exchanges, views and ideas in a environment free from the constraints of classroom teaching and learning.

An attempt will be made on our part to post some interesting stories, news or simply information about forthcoming events. We encourage participants to post any information what they find interesting. We would welcome feedback on any aspect (curriculum, teaching methods, or any other item). We believe it is best to avoid posting class notes.

We will do our best to live up to our aim, namely, "Creating students who will build a name for themselves, and go beyond becoming a mere statistic or number in the world".
